Mechanic Mechanic -1st and 2nd Shift (West side of Cleveland ) Compensation: $11.00/HR Mechanic (West 150th Cleveland ) A local westside company is seeking hard working individuals looking for a long term position. This Mechanic position is for 1st and 2nd shift and requires, to be able use mechanical tools, electrical test equipment, fast pace, measuring instruments and also be able to read blueprints.
Job Description: Responsible for the
repair
of electric motors, disassemble apparatus, and remove armatures, stators, or rotor from housing to prepare motor for final shipment. Install pole pieces and field coils per specifications. Pack grease in the bearing housing, fit bearing to the armature/rotor shaft. Re-assemble motor to the required specifications for fit and clearance using hoist and/or manually. Pack grease in the bearing housing. Assemble external parts such as couplings, fans, and covers. Skills: Must be hand on person capable of working in a fast pace environment. Must have braze or soldering experience. May require to lift 50-100lbs. Reliable transportation.
