Overview:
eGlobalTech, an award winning federal management consulting firm, is currently seeking a Director for our market leading Cloud Computing Practice. This individual will be responsible for providing thought leadership to both clients and eGlobalTech team members, developing innovative strategies and service offerings to enhance our Practice Area, and helping our clients evolve to the next phase of Federal Cloud Computing. This role includes oversight of an existing portfolio of projects, managing personnel engaged on cloud computing efforts, developing strategic concepts/solution architectures to meet the needs of our clients, and leading the development of technical proposals.
Candidates must have held senior-level program management and/or
executive
level positions with a management consulting firm. Candidates must also have proven skills in providing hands-on management and oversight support for complex enterprise business transformation projects, as well as experience with leading and contributing to business development efforts.
The Director will also be expected to contribute to corporate initiatives and maintain an outstanding level of commitment to the company and its objectives. position
should have exceptional communication skills with C-Level executives.
Responsibilities:
Expanding the firm's Cloud Computing Practice Area
Actively managing and supervising multiple programs/projects simultaneously.
Providing strategic guidance and quality assurance support to project teams.
Ensuring the success of the firm's project engagements.
Program/Project Management.
Client Relationship Management.
Strategic Guidance and Quality Assurance.
Ensuring
employee
performance, development, loyalty and retention.
Developing and maintaining partner relationships.
Leading proposal development efforts.
Representing the company and its priorities effectively both internally and externally (to include business meetings, client meetings, conferences, etc.)
Identifying new business opportunities and overseeing new related project engagements.
Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of cloud computing (including technical architecture, management considerations, impact on business processes, standards, security considerations, industry developments, etc.)
Ability to apply critical and analytical thinking to develop innovative solutions for furthering the deployment and use of cloud computing across the federal government and resolving challenges/issues
Ability to apply industry best practices (such as cloud brokering) to federal clients environments
Proven ability to act in a senior advisory role to both technical and business focused clients
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
Exceptional ability to develop executive and technical briefings
Ability to create white papers and marketing collateral related to cloud computing areas of interest
Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
Strong leadership, people management, collaboration, influence and team building skills.
Ability to manage change.
Ability to articulate technical strategy and issues to senior management in business terms
Proven capabilities to recruit, build, and lead a great team. Has a passion for business and technology, can foster and develop the same level of passion within their team.
Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree desirable.
