Title : Quality Engineer
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Location : Beaverton, OR
- Participate in our Scrum sprint planning meeting, collect test requirements from the Development team members, identify happy path and negative test case scenarios and document them in detail
- Work alongside the Development to test their deliverables through manual and/or automated black box and white box testing, using the test cases you created
- Identify opportunities to automate your test cases and create scripts for them
- Verify bug-fixes and perform regression testing
- Perform continuous and ongoing testing (including in areas not specifically assigned to you), and file bugs in the defect tracking system as and when you Client them
- Continuously investigate, identify and expand areas of automation across all product areas
- Identify creative ways to break the product and expose weaknesses and vulnerabilities
- Communicate quality issues and risks with all stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications (must have):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (software testing methodologies, test development and test execution), preferably with enterprise software solutions
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux, Linux command-line tools, and shell scripting
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Python for software development or test automation (or, familiarity with Python with 2 years of hands-on experience in Perl)
- Demonstrated skills in QA tools/troubleshooting techniques
