Job Description:
o Demonstrate best-practice knowledge and apply skills to deliver an effective solution specific to client needs
o Translate business and technical requirements into extensible, scalable, and maintainable applications
o Design and implement an efficient solution that meets the functional requirements
o Extend existing or develop new code base using proven best-practice patterns and coding standards
o Understand functional and technical specifications
o Thoroughly unit test code for all contingencies outlined in the requirements documentation
o Check code and communicate task status in a timely manner
o Ability to work independently and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum
Qualifications:
o BS in
computer
Science
o Strong HTML/ColdFusion/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX and JQuery Experience
o 1-2
years of ASP.NET, C# Experience and MVC is a plus
o Report writing skills (SSRS, Crystal Reports) is a plus.
o MS SQL or other Relational Database Experience
Other Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate opinions and ideas.
Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Autonomy to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure in a team environment
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong understanding of computing environments
(client-server applications, web applications, networks, databases)
Strong analytical and problem-solving
