My team is looking for talented Ruby on Rails Developers to join an excellent organization in Cambridge. These roles are currently contracts, but there is potential to go temp-hire at this point. Individuals hired would be architecting, developing and maintaining enhancements to our constantly evolving, cloud-based platform and ensure it scales properly with our rapidly growing global customer base.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Ruby (we use 2.0) and Rails (we use 4.0).
A solid grasp on front-end technologies (we use CSS, HTML and JavaScript) and frameworks (we use CoffeeScript, Haml, jQuery and Sass).
A solid grasp on relational database technologies (we use PostreSQL).
A general understanding of cloud platforms (we use Heroku).
Experience with tools such as Bundler, RVM, and Git (we use GitHub).
Mac OS or Linux experience (we use Macs).
A Bachelor's degree or higher in
computer
Science or equivalent experience.
As a developer at Fullbridge, you must be self-motivated and a team player. You must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and a passion for building high-quality products.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Familiarity with non-relational database technologies (we use MongoDB).
Experience with Amazon Web
services
(we use CloudFront, EC2 and S3).
Experience with mobile (iOS and Android) application development.
Familiarity with educational Learning Management Systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
