Our client is a growing manufacturing company in need of an Logistic Expediting Coordinator. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers competitive salary and benefits. Bring your purchasing, manufacturing and inventory skills to this busy group.
Create and evaluate daily on-time shipment report which identifies late shipments, and potentially late shipments.
Work with Process Manager to resolve or prevent late orders, identify root cause for potentially late shipments, and implement actions when directed by Process Manager.
Create and maintain critical items list for stock material. Develop individual monitor/status sheets for critical components as directed by Process Manager.
Work closely with accounting to understand reason for any items on accounting hold. Communicate with sales staff and Process Manager to resolve accounting holds.
Participate in staff meetings as needed.
Work with Process Manager to assess inventory status and recommend changes needed to support demonstrated usage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and
Experience:
Associates degree in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, industrial technology or equivalent experience.
Understanding of the general process for Purchase Orders, Manufacturing Orders, and Inventory Management.
Demonstrated
computer
proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to be trained for as a skillful user of Webb's ERP system.
Clear oral communication skills.
Writing proficiency to include ability to express thoughts in writing, using complete sentences, with accurate grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Willingess and ability to travel.
Previous user of manufacturing ERP software preferred.
Ability to read mechanical manufacturing drawings preferred.
Expediting experience with mechanical machine components preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
