- Servicing will report to the Senior Director, Director or Manager of Compliance and have the responsibility for providing compliance support to Loan Operations Servicing. Responsibilities will include supporting the businesses by providing regulatory control guidance, assisting with issue resolution, reviewing policies and procedures, ensuring a system of regulatory controls exist within the business lines, extracting data from various sources for sampling, developing and executing testing scopes, reviewing test results with management, issuing test result reports, and tracking open action items to correct deficiencies. This includes partnering with Servicing to implement remediation plans and retesting efforts.
The candidate must have a high level of initiative and be able to work independently under normal supervision, assuming ownership for all assignments and projects. The individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to interact with management and personnel at all levels. The ideal candidate would be familiar with laws and regulations governing student loans. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality, integrity and trust.

Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5 years of financial institution risk management or regulatory experience. Student lending experience preferred.
Ability to understand complex regulatory requirements and analyze their impact on operations.
15% travel.
Certification in regulatory, audit or risk management disciplines preferred, but not required.
