Our organization conducts the sales, marketing and distribution of office future, flooring products, architectural wall products, acoustical control and ergonomic work tools to the marketplace. We provide related services such as delivery, installation, refurbishment / renewal services and professional services such as specification, storage asset management, brokerage and project /move management services. position
plays an important role in providing the financial guidance and direction that balances quality, risk and value in a changing business environment. Creating and upholding ethical decisions is essential to the integrity of this position. This position is accountable for the overall financial stability and integrity of the company reflective of the following: Accounting policy guidance General and complex transactional processing Evaluating credit opportunities and risks Internal controls/ compliance Optimizing cash position and debt management Realistic financial forecasts and economic evaluations Sound, accurate financial statements Strategy formulation HR leadership and overall management IT leadership and overall management Essential Functions/ Activities: Finance: Develop the financial strategic plans of the organization and implement, direct and measure the financial results according to pre-established fiscal standards and goals Maintain credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets/forecasts, financial reports and trends Conduct hands-on controller/accounting activities (i.e. Payments, account payable/receivables, credit and period-end closing) Perform and improve budgets/forecasts through key managers Ensure accurate and efficient payroll process is in place and compliance is met Enhance/develop policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company Provide technical and financial advice and knowledge to others within the company Participate in the development of the company's direction and overall plans as a strategic partner of the owner and other senior managers. Create and uphold the financial discipline and compliance of the company's resources to ensure positive financial results Manages the banking , insurance, healthcare, accounting/auditor relationships, legal consultancy and other strategic service partnerships Jointly establish financial benchmarks and goals in which overall performance associated with this position will be evaluated Human Resources: Establishes, guides and maintains the cohesiveness and required performance levels of the workforce through sound and effective policies and labor relationships Guides and leads the overall strategic and tactical HR plans / benefit administration for the company Ensures compliance to all codes, regulations and legal requirements Guides the development and implementation of all compensation, evaluation and incentive programs Guides and manages the recruiting and screening process Manages all
employee
benefit programs (i.e. Healthcare, 401K, etc.) Automation: Establishes an overall automation strategy and expected levels of performance Establishes a budget and measures the usage versus the value recognized Determines the performance level required from the automation position and / or outsourced relationship Minimum Education and
