Technical Writer - Engineering Seeking to hire a Technical Writer-Engineering Job tasks:- Make updates to engineering policy and process manuals such as the Design Policy Manual, Plan Development Process manual, and others. - Modify numerous engineering manuals to provide consistency in format using basic MS WORD formatting tools. - Develop various types of documentation related to the Department's implementation of Bentley ProjectWise (ie: Admin documentation, User documentation, Process documentation, etc.) and other engineering software implementations as well. - Develop user documentation/training for engineering software applications and processes. - Edit/modify/update existing documentation created by other team members. - Modify existing engineering software documentation to provide a consistent format. - Produce small videos for user training and help. - Edit and format engineering and design training material for style, consistency, and redundancy. Required: -Customer Service Experience -BA/BS in Technical Writing or related degree -Five years experience as a Technical Writer researching and writing documentation for business processes, usability, training manuals, and development of user friendly document templates. -Proficient skills in the use of Camtasia/Other video software -Proficient skills in the use of Diagram/flowchart software - MS Visio 2010 -Proficient skills in the use of MS Windows 7 -Proficient skills in the use of Screen capture software - SnagIt, Paint, Etc Preferred: -Adobe Acrobat -MS Office MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
