The Portfolio Management Engineer will serve as a liaison between the internal and external business
community
and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possess an expert understanding of technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business groups supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.Oversees process for compliance and performs audit functions.)

Job Specific Responsibilities
Review all incoming concepts and gather objective, timeframe, and financial impact
Collaborate with GIO leads to determine priority
Prepare for and facilitate various portfolio management related meetings including PM Assignment meetings
Develop and maintain Reporting and Metrics for the GIO North America protfolio of projects including resource capacity analysis.

Identify and drive process design and optimization for the GIO PMO including portfolio and capacity management.
Maintain project management methodology standards and applicable training

Candidate Requirements
Strong experience in portfolio management reporting and processes.
Experience in working with technical data and understanding complex technical terminology.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; ie) Powerpoint, Excel. Proficient in CA Clarity tool.
Proficient in the use of Reporting/Business Intelligence applications
Able to produce statistical data/charts/graphs.
Strong experience in process design and control.
Excellent verbal, written and executive level presentation skills
Proven success in delivering projects within specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
Provides coaching and mentoring to other staff on the team.
Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments

Preferred Qualifications

yrs of related IT and Portfolio Management experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and appropriate certificates.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
