Data Engineer Data Engineer Our client, a leading enterprise social media software company, is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering team. Their engineering group strives to delight our customers by continually delivering quality software early and often through agile development processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the study of social network data and a passion for data.
Responsibilities: - Work with senior programmers on our social platform and analytics engine using PHP, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB - Work closely with business stakeholders and product managers to solve critical business problems. - Leverage ETL frameworks and off the shelf ETL tools as appropriate - Work closely with database admins and engineering teams to build and extend ETL framework and tools - Work closely with our customer experience group to satisfy individual customer needs. - Work with architecture team to build scalable data solutions that our clients can use.
Qualifications:- B.S. or M.S.
computer
Science or related field, or 5 years experience in a relevant role - Experience with ETL tools or frameworks - Understanding of ETL techniques and best practices - Experience with data warehousing architecture and modelling a plus - Experience working with large data sets - Experience with Hadoop a plus Compensation: Our client offers competitive salaries, 401k, health/dental/vision benefits, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and short-term/long-term disability coverage. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
