Plan, design, enforce and audit security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements. To recognize and identify potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. To provide management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect customers, or corporate security objectives. To evaluate and recommend security products,
services
and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness. This
position
will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
Duties include:
Develops technology to automate security monitoring
Create, maintain, and document security baselines
Liaison to the Enterprise Architect, WAN, LAN, and Enterprise Management Teams to effectively communicate and architect security solutions
Active member in technical workgroups to recommend effective security configurations
and architecture
Develops documentation to support ongoing security systems operations, maintenance
and specific problem resolution.
Works with and coordinates appropriate IT staff to implement solutions which will meet
or exceed customer expectations
Functions as technical lead during a security incident response
Preferred experience and certification:
Healthcare experience
CISSP-ISSEP certification or a GIAC GSE
CEH and/or CISA and/or GPEN certification
Experience with CSIRTs
Experience with IDS/IPS systems
Experience with PCI-DSS compliance
Experience with Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Scanning
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
