Our Bridge Group in our Columbus, OH office is seeking a dynamic Bridge Engineer join our team!
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering design tasks for bridge projects from preliminary to final design
Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
Interact with Gannett Fleming project teams
Complete tasks with multi-disciplined teams
Prepare reports required by the project development process
Prepare plans required for the construction of projects
Perform bridge inspections and write inspections reports
Perform construction inspections
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master's Degree is preferred
Must have 2-4 years of related brdige design and bridge inspection experience
Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Standards
Prior experience with
ohio
Department of Transportation projects highly desired
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design Software (MicroStation and GeoPak) required
Strong basic knowledge of the bridge plan development and detailing preferred
Knowledge of and experience using AutoCAD is as plus
Strong verbal and oral communication skills required
Must be self-motivated
