is currently looking for an experienced Architect to come work as a Project Architect for our consistently growing client located in Shreveport, LA. As the Project Architect of a firm that serves hundreds of clients across the southern United States, you'll be responsible for providing project management on architectural projects from inception to completion. Independently, you'll coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout all phases of various projects. You'll organize workload and project tasks through design development and construction phases to ensure that projects are consistently on schedule and completed within the designated timeframes. ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Establish client and internal meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
Write/edit architectural specifications and work directly with owner and owner's legal staff to establish and document the legal parameters of the construction contract
Coordinate and assist affected disciplines with any addendum, RFIs, CPRs and change orders and incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents
Provide construction contract administration as needed
Addition duties as assigned
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
5
years of experience as a licensed Architect (NCARB certificate holder)
Registered Architect in the states of
louisiana
and
texas
with the ability to obtain other jurisdictions through reciprocity
Experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit and additional technology platforms
Federal contracting design/build experience and the ability to fast track documents
This
position
is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
