About the
position
:
Guggenheim Partners has a full time position available in the shared services center supporting the budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis requirements for the Firm. The establishment of the shared services center of excellence allows the organization to best leverage
employee
skills and capabilities and gain scale efficiencies while establishing standard practices for the production of core business processes.

The position will be based in the Topeka office and will require some travel to Guggenheim's Chicago headquarters. The ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate strong analytical, reporting, technical and data analysis skills utilizing ERP systems, software and database tools.

Specific responsibilities include:
Coordinate the execution of the monthly reporting process, quarterly forecast and annual planning processes, ensuring due dates are achieved and key deliverables are submitted.
Assist the Shared Service Leaders or Directors of Finance and other Finance representatives in the preparation of monthly reports, quarterly forecasts and annual plans.
Collaborate across Business Units to develop plans/forecasts and ensure alignment with overall firm objectives.
Provide overall functional support to the Finance
community
on planning/forecasting tools and processes.
Manage a standardized reporting process across the firm and prepare monthly analysis of operating results for management.
Formalize the monthly reporting process, quarterly forecast and annual planning process through the development of a centralized calendar of
events
and milestones.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis to assist in business decision support.
Recommend process improvements to create greater efficiency and productivity.
Assist in the process of allocating Shared Services costs to those Business Units utilizing centralized corporate functions across the company. This process involves defining key cost drivers, tracking allocation cost pools, preparing allocation journal entries as part of the month-end close process, reviewing and analyzing Shared Services cost pools and allocations on an ongoing basis and maintaining the Allocations Database in Hyperion Essbase.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
Work experience of 5 to 10 years in a Corporate Reporting/Corporate Financial Management role.
Financial Services industry preferred.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and proficient in Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Hyperion HFM or Essbase financial planning/software and experience in an integrated forecasting environment preferred.
Experience with Workday software desired.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills.
Must successfully pass a background check.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
