Product Development Intern

Location: Louisville, KY
Genscape is seeking a talented summer Intern in our Louisville, KY office. The intern will contribute to development of new tools and processes for automated image pattern recognition. These tools help Genscape speed up and scale analysis of infrared imaging to identify market moving
events
of interest.
This internship will focus on developing algorithms to identify image patterns of interest and evolving image pattern classification tools. Coming up with new ideas to keep Genscape on the cutting edge of market analysis is a must!
Qualifications:
2
years of experience in school or in prior internships developing complex mathematical algorithms and building quantitative models, familiarity with MATLAB is a plus.
Understanding fundamentals of digital image processing.
Experience with general purpose programming languages, understanding of tools and processes of software development life cycle is a big plus.
Must have strong communication skills, a passion to learn and an ability to work well with varying personalities in a creative hi-tech environment
Pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Math or
computer
Science.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
