supervisor
with an automotive supplier located in Battle Creek, MI. This is the second largest employer in Battle Creek! As the Section Supervisor of machine design within the electrical department, you'll be responsible for the direct supervision of numerous electrical engineering associates. In addition to supervising others, you'll also be responsible for managing various projects from inception to completion. Specifically, you'll design and modify machines for manufacturing and product handling, as well as support and help improve existing manufacturing processes. ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Write detailed equipment specifications for the procurement of manufacturing equipment
Lead in the start-up and debug of new equipment
Develop and guide staff in areas of expertise
Balance and prioritize project workload
Develop and follow through with emergency reaction plans for quality and safety improvements
Lead the kaizen of department systems and standards
Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
3
years of relevant supervisory experience
Knowledge of core and HVAC manufacturing practices and experience with SolidWorks and/or Promis-e software preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to travel internationally
This
position
is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
