Quality, Materials, and Process Specialist

Overview
The
position
supports the Quality Audit Group, Materials Group and the Process Planning/New Model Group within the Paint Department. Performs Process and TPM Audits, supports VPS activities, assisting with the verification of corrective actions for all of the systems used within the paint shop. Maintains Internal Product Audit System.
Responsibilities
Implements the Paint Department Business Model (MPM) targets and systems
Supports the Paint Department corrective & preventive action systems
Supports product audit systems for the Paint Department
Performs process audits in all Paint Shop areas
Performs TPM audits in all Paint Shop areas
Supports defect analysis team, VPS activities as needed, and Quality Audit Group
Liaison for product audit associates with the production management team
Support of issue resolution with audit discrepancies
Conduct process audit activities on second shift
Quality management review meeting preparation
Support production management team with C/A process and verification
Communication of quality related items from external sources
Support of Materials Group
In-line paint checker operation
End of line measurement cell operation
Data entry and support with monthly emissions reporting
New material trials
Liaison for Paint Mix associates with B-shift production management team.
Support of Process Planning Group
Communication of information to the relevant production teams
Attends weekly Process Planning info meeting
Support of trials as needed
Liaison between Production Management Team and the Process Planners for items addressed on second shift
Performs other duties as assigned by operations

Requirements
Associates or Bachelors degree in related field and 2 years of work experience
2 years of manufacturing experience including project or team leadership in a production environment
Knowledge of ISO Standards
Knowledge of TS16949 (ISO Standard/Technical Specification for the Automotive Industry)
computer
skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
Written/verbal communication skills as proven through business applicationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
