Join a great team an be responsible for managing and administering the Cognos applications and verifying that all business requirements are properly documented and all solutions designs meet users and company requirements. Additionally, you will act as the technical resource for any questions on Cognos and support to other development and user personnel; create and manage the companies Reporting Model, create and develop complex reports and train business users on the use of Report Studio and Query Studio; perform applications upgrades as needed and assign development tasks as required.
BS or BA degree in
computer
science, business administration or related field is preferred. Cognos Report Studio Authoring Training Intro and Advance
classes
, Cognos Model Building Training, or Cognos Metadata Modeling Training preferred along with some programming and database experience. Experience with different operating systems preferred, and knowledge of database/data communications desirable. Ability to work well with others. Ability to do programming debugging, data analysis and system analysis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
