We are looking for someone who considers him/herself the Master of Design. The Art Supervisor understands marketing strategy and successfully transposes that into effective creative that meets the goals and objectives set before them. In addition to being the Master of Design, the Art Supervisor is a mentor, a marketer, a designer who has an Interactive background and can make impactful and beautiful presentations and sales material.

The Art Supervisor leads the design team and manages the process of creating, concepting and implementing high-quality, creative marketing material for Collective Bias. The Art Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications, and works closely with several functional areas within CB. The Art Supervisor has three direct reports and is responsible for leading, coaching, mentoring and recruiting design team members as necessary.
Establishes and maintains overall design vision and high internal quality by originating creative ideas, managing project time lines, adhering to Creative Briefs, ensuring consistency of strategic branding.
Inspires others, not just those who are his/her direct reports.
Brings new thinking to CB, whether new technologies, resources or processes.
Keeper of the brand guidelines for all CB brands and sub-brands.
Although an art role, oversees copy for adherence to brand guidelines and overall aesthetics of our brands.
Oversees all creative projects and assesses project development, reviews work and determines whether project is on target and within the scope of the Creative Brief.
Works cross functionally to provide strategic direction for internal/external material and ensure all departments meet brand guidelines.
Works closely with the development team to ensure interactive design meets client and internal requirements.
Acts as a mentor to departmental employees by providing developmental opportunities, responding to questions, providing direction on resource utilization (internally and externally), etc.
Provides supervision and oversight to freelance staff by determining appropriate project assignment based on individual skill sets, onboarding new employees, providing necessary resources and direction, and responding to questions.
Ensures smooth internal workflow by utilizing effective delegation, the assignment/reassignment of appropriate resources to
jobs
, providing direction and counsel as needed.

Qualifications
5-6 years of professional work experience encompassing advertising, web design, interactive design and/or marketing experience.
Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, business, marketing, communications or related field.
Experience managing and directing a team.
Strong creative and conceptual vision, and the ability to execute high quality integrated communications against strategic business objectives.
Strong understanding of front-end web design solutions for back-end data systems. Basic understanding of HTML, and working knowledge of capabilities of different platforms and browsers, and their design constraints on the web.
Comfortable working in a startup environment where you are responsible for identifying and implementing processes, systems and best practice
A passion and intellectual curiosity for consumer technology, social media, mobile and digital emerging / converging technologies, keeps abreast of the latest industry news, vendors and is savvy on social media marketing best practices.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; skilled knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially PowerPoint.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
