We provide services and support to individuals whose challenges include serious and persistent mental illness, complex family problems, substance abuse in combination with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, self-destructive behavior, depression and social withdrawal, psychosis and related confusion, behaviors related to past abuse, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, complex learning disabilities, and serious emotional and relationship instability. We provide individualized state-of-the-art treatment, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), Adventure-based therapies, dual diagnosis treatment, and vocational skills training.
Relief staff work at the residential program with adults living with serious and persistent mental illness on a per-diem basis. These positions are on-call, as needed. Relief staff need to be available to work evenings, weekends, and overnights.
Relief workers are responsible for the day to day operations of the program. Responsibilities include providing transportation, meal preparation, medication administration, behavior intervention, basic housekeeping, documentation, recreational activities, and all other duties as assigned by
supervisor
.
Bachelor's Degree in a Social Services related field preferred, and/or experience or internship with adults living with serious and persistent mental illness. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age with a current, valid driver's license and the minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and be First Aid, CPR and MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified or certifiable.
