We are currently seeking a Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner who will focus on family practice care to join our client's employee health center.The site is located in Gillette, WY.
Responsibilities include :
Large focus on well-woman care
Providing acute and chronic care, occupational health and preventative disease management to patients in health center. This includes the employees, dependents and retirees of our client.
Ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Recording physical findings and formulating treatment plans and prognosis.
Discussing case with Lead Physician and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
Referring patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Educating and coaching nursing staff on best nursing practices.
Requirements :
Master's degree (MSN) preferred.
Minimum two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care, urgent care or emergency department setting. Previous OB/GYN experience preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in addition to being nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through ANCC or AANP.
Current BLS certification is required through AHA or ARC. ACLS preferred.
Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Site Medical Director, if allowed within state of practice.
