Position Description
Manufacturing Planners are required to support 787 Assembly and Integration - Project/Shipside Support Planning Team in North Charleston,
south carolina
. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to flight safety, a passion for aerospace, an emphasis on teamwork, outstanding interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a demanding, high visibility environment. The selected candidate will support, or assist in, the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Participates in the development and implementation of manufacturing plans. Coordinates and implements new
engineering
principles, theories, technologies and concepts.Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

Lean Knowledge
Basic -General knowledge of Lean principles, processes and tools (i. e. Continuous Flow, Accelerated Improvement Workshop, Value Stream Analysis, Takt Time, etc.). General knowledge of how to apply principles, processes and tools to various work environments to enable implementation of enterprise wide Boeing Production System (Toyota Production System).

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Are you proficient in Velocity and Delmia?
Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level 3 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
