Job Description Associate Project Manger/ Intern that supports a team
Project Managers in implementing Information Technology (IT) projects.
Position is located in the National Capital Area
(NCR) region of
washington
DC. Responsible for coordination
and support to PM and technical team for IT projects. Works
with team to support project schedules, budget and financial
parameters, and associated tasks related to IT Project
implementation and completion to a standard of quality as
measured by post-installation audits and customer feedback.
Coordinates with PM to determine project scope and ensure
all work is completed to a high customer-satisfaction level.
Performs additional duties as assigned to support project
managers and technical team of support staff, to include
support to develop IT project schedules, creating Project
reports, gathering data to support projects and coordinating
internal support task. Must be a Junior or entering senior
year of college. Specific placement on program will be determined
after hire.
Basic Qualifications Project management, customer management, budget
management, strong written and verbal communications
skills, proven record of identifying and implementing
improvements and taking the initiative to solve problems
and/or overcome obstacles
Desired skills Certified PMP, Security
or CISSP
