Data Warehouse Architect
Responsibilities:
Shape data architecture and strategy to support senior client managerial reporting and decision making.
Provide data modeling blueprints for a financial management and business system data mart.
Provide solutions and strategies for cataloging metadata and supporting client common data needs and anticipated needs.
Provide a reporting strategy for supporting financial and back office operations for a large client.
Support and recommend analytics initiatives using client data.
Provide solution architect estimates, using Accenture Delivery Methods.
Build and strengthen relationships with senior technology and functional clients/.
Coordinate with other Solution Architect team resources, prepare white papers / conduct presentations to client leadership supporting these recommendations.
Mentor other practitioners on Business Intelligence tools and methodologies.
Understand uses of client data and applicability to key decision makers and decisions.
## Qualifications
Basic
Qualifications:
Must be US Citizen with ability to gain a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Poly.
Bachelor's Degree in
computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems.
10 years hands-on experience with data warehouse and/or business intelligence technologies.
4 years Data Modeling and/or Data Architecture experience.
5 years Deep SQL and/or ETL tool experience.
4 years report tool development experience.
Experience building datamarts.
4 years Experience with system development lifecycle, including creating designs.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with one for the following software tools: Cognos, Ascential, PeopleSoft PeopleTools.
Familiarity with common Data Warehouse methodologies (e.g. Inmon, Kimball, etc.).
Strong accounting and financial Experiences supporting DoD or Federal Intel Agency.
MS Windows and Office products.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong presentation development and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with technical managers.
Demonstrated ability to
coach
team members on both technical skills and soft skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
