The Pratt and Whitney International Part Center Organization is looking for an energetic quality engineer to provide quality engineering support to the IPC value stream.
This
position
located in East Hartford, CT will be responsible for supporting international suppliers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Interface with customers (Assembly Floor, Programs, Military) regarding initial escape review (parts inspection and spec review)
Population definition (including WIP and field)
Interface with suppliers
Ensure necessary controls in place to stop further nonconformance
Interface with Engineering
Manage overall closure plan for escape(s).
Manage supplier
Control / Monitor Supplier Key Metrics
Support and drive continuous improvement activities / culture including ( uppap), (procert)
Develop supplier best practices / processes
Represent Quality on multi-disciplined supply chain teams
Interact with Purchasing and Materials to guarantee compliance to quality requirements while ensuring product schedule integrity
BA/BS in Engineering or related technical discipline 6 to 10
years experience with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of skilled workers including international workforce. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Travel up to 20%

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
