FOUNDATION has an opening for a Advancement Content Librarian The University of Illinois Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative team member for the position of Advancement Content Librarian. This is a new position that will bring a multi-disciplinary approach to content management with the goal of furthering access to University of Illinois Advancement digital content. The Librarian will work as part of the information management team to provide
services
including: - Building a library of resources for University of Illinois Advancement - Managing the collective online resources for Advancement - Providing support for stored Advancement content requests - Promoting and providing a user-friendly access This position requires working with end users to ensure the success of the information management program for University of Illinois Advancement. The Content Librarian will have a role in bringing about business process improvement to the information infrastructure for Advancement. This position reports to the Director of Records Services/Information Security Officer who reports to the Chief Data Officer. Bachelor's degree from an ALA-accredited school of library and information science or related field is required along with a minimum of five years of experience in records and information management and managing content in a complex organization. Experience in maintaining website/Intranet content and using a content management system is also required. Familiarity with metadata formats, standards and schema, experience in teaching, authoring training content and forms management preferred.
