This position is in Data Center Solutions, a shared service of SE's IT Business organization, located inNashvilleTN.A Seniorr Quotation Specialist is accountable for Bill of Material preparation and providing quotations to internal and external customers utilizing sales and technical knowledge of products including MV & LV switchgear, MV Motor Control, MV Transformers, Battery Systems, Power Zone Centers, etc. on some of our largest and most complex data center projects. May be involved in helping to coordinate the bid strategy with outside sales representatives & opportunity owners. Interprets customer requirements and offers solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer. May be involved in order handoff process as needed to ensure proper order conversion. Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard. Maintains a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions. Follows up on outstanding quotations to help secure orders, improve quotation process and measure effectiveness. Incorporates use of technological capabilities to improve processes and efficiency. Assists outside sales representatives in the preparation of customer presentations related to the quote, including comments on exceptions and built in value. Processes change orders as needed and works closely with Project Management.
