PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
The Digital Marketing Strategist is
responsible
for creating and executing a holistic search strategy (SEO and some PPC) in support of our client's performance objectives. In addition, the role is accountable for delivering against those objectives, retaining the client and creating opportunities to deepen the client's adoption of FindLaw solutions.

Responsibilities:
Strategy
Using FindLaw common practices and in-depth client interviews, create organic and some paid search strategies on behalf of our clients.
Conduct keyword research and search opportunity analysis to determine the best keyword strategy for a client's project(s).
Create and confirm site architecture and the site map for client's websites working closely with Project Managers, Content and Development.
Create and lead the organic content optimization strategy for clients including specific content recommendations, blogging objectives, article creation and syndication, as well as video and press release optimization
Work closely with clients to understand their marketing objectives and strategies, analyze the performance of their entire web program (inside and outside of Findlaw) against those objectives and recommend tactics that will help realize the customers' long-term web marketing
Make recommendations and coach clients on how to integrate their Findlaw services into other online marketing avenues (boosting their social media presence, additional linking opportunities)
Partner with internal and external clients to ensure the website development process results in an optimal search configuration and results.
Provide ongoing client support and expertise through timely consultations focused on communicating the value delivered through the FindLaw solutions and strategies deployed.
Continually analyze client site performance through internal and external systems and use the data to update the search marketing strategy as necessary, deploy new tactics and react to algorithm changes.
Educate clients on general SEO and Findlaw's common practices to ensure expectations are properly aligned.
May be required to travel to client's location for consultation and strategy meetings.
Ability to resolve escalated situations and be a problem solver for internal and external customers.Leadership
Engage with clients for feedback and opportunities for improvement.
Represent the search team on cross-functional committees/initiatives.
Develop and execute ideas for enhancing team performance and engagement.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required.
Experience:
3 years experience in Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization, keyword research and analysis.
Experience successfully implementing SEO strategies with proven results in increasing traffic, conversion and ROI.
Experience with website reporting analytics tools preferred (Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst)
Experience with various organic search tools (Google Webmaster Tools, Majestic SEO, etc.)
2 to 3 years experience with PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and a current Google Adwords Certification - preferred
Working knowledge of common coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Working knowledge of site architecture, site maps and web development
2 to 4 years of Customer Service or Account Management experienceSKILLS:
