is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and systems designed for use in elevator systems. The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical ProEngineer tasks (modeling and detailing), but must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally. The designer will be part of a team operating out of a new facility in Florence,
south carolina
, that is home to the North American engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
AA/AS degree with 5 years experience required -Proficiency in ProEngineer solid modeling and 2D drawings required
Strong communications skills
Ability to work productively within a team environment
High energy and passion for innovation and creativity
Manufacturing process knowledge
Experience with Design for manufacturing and cost preferred
The candidate should also possess the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate ability to respond to customer requests in a timely and effective manner.
