CNC/Lathe Set-up/Operator Location:
Elyria, Ohio ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Is responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC machining centers, and setting up and operating secondary machines according to instructions and industry practices using various gauges and measuring tools.
Interprets prints and specifications and makes various machine adjustments, tool changes/replacements.
Is responsible for inspecting work to assure our quality and production standards are being met.
May train or direct other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent required, and 3-5 years CNC lathe experience, including CNC programming, is required.
Knowledge/experience of Okuma and Star a plus.
Must be able to work in a team environment and also be able to work independently without constant directives.
Possess leadership skills to direct co-workers and other team members.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
