Responsibilities:
Performing circuit design and component selection. Working on schematic and PCB layout. Developing firmware for biomedical modules. Developing automation software for optical-electrical device calibration, testing and performance analysis. Using optical and electron microscopes to collect and analyze biomedical data.
Job Requirements:
EE/Computer engineering/Physics background with 3
years experience in electrical hardware, firmware and automation software development. Experience in circuit design using Multisim and OrCAD Capture. Experience in schematic and multiple-layer PCB layout with Ultiboard, OrCAD or PADS. Experience in equipment interface programming for I2C, SPI, RS-232, and GPIB. Experience in software development using LabVIEW and C/C++. Experience with 32-bit DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices. Experience with FEA tools such as FlexPDE and COMSOL. Experience working in the optical industry and preferably in start-up environment. Must be hands on with lab equipment, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
