Channel Marketing Specialist

Position Overview:
The Channel Marketing Specialist (CMS) is responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of accurate and compelling tools to maximize the success of Listens channel partners. The CMS works with the Channel Marketing Director (CMD) to deeply understand the channel in order to better support channel needs and wants that drive revenue. The CMS works directly with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate product and channel content exists to support channel partners and internal sales efforts. The CMS participates on Product Launch Teams (PLTs) and helps coordinate the product and marketing content in support of announcing the products to the channel. CMS is responsible for supporting product and channel training, channel shows, and channel programs to further increase effectiveness in marketing and selling Listen solutions.
Position
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the process for creating and maintaining channel marketing content and tools to maximize the success of Listens channel partners.
Be responsible for product and channel marketing content and tools that are solution based matching channel verticals. Examples include value propositions, channel benefits document, competitive comparison guides, sales guides, flyers, specification tools, case studies, application notes, etc.
Work in conjunction with the corporate marketing to fulfill channel co-op and channel show activities.
Be responsible for ensuring product accuracy on website and any collateral updated with assistance from corporate marketing.
Work within the marketing department budget to deliver work product that is accurate, on time and within budget to increase sales. Meet or exceed established KPIs and ROI.
Utilize project planning tools to accurately complete deliverables that meet tight deadlines.
Work with the corporate marketing department to ensure all projects maintain consistency with the companys Visual Brand Standards document.
Write and proofread content as needed.
Flexibility to work extra hours when required.
Use internal CRM tool to manage relationships with vendors and customers.
Uphold and execute the company brand, values, philosophy, ethics, culture and integrity with all they conduct business with including but not limited to: Dealers, consultants, distributors, vendors, customers, and fellow Listen employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred or a minimum of one year of work experience in Channel Marketing.
Excellent project management skills. Must be able to give examples of successfully managing projects. Ability to be both a contributor and coordinator, balancing managing others as well as contributing completed work product.
Excellent writing and proof-reading skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with peers and executives across different departments.
Excellent collaboration skills. Must have the ability to negotiate deadlines, work flow and manage expectations across varying stakeholders. Good understanding of channel marketing concepts and procedures.
Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines, while maintaining top quality work.
Attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Strong accountability and commitment to excellence.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce company culture.
