WEB DEVELOPER
We are seeking a Full time web developer in a LAMP environment to assist with the development and maintenance of an online retail store. This is a new role at C-A-L Ranch Stores. This will include maintenance, continual build out of the web system, and integration the web system with our current infrastructure. Development may be independent of or in conjunction with a third- party systems integrator. Applicants must be flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced work environment. This position will report to the IT supervisor. This position is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Qualifications/Essential Job Functions:
EXPERT skills REQUIRED in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience in using CVS/Subversion
Experience in using MVC Frameworks and OOP Methodologies
Experience in understanding and implementing security precautions in open source programming
Understanding or experience with Apache and Unix/Linux system administration beneficial but not required
Strong Microsoft Office application experience required
Detail-Oriented with focused work ethic
Strong problem solving skills
Strong fundamental project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work both independently and in team-based environment
Computer Science or other college degree beneficial but not required
Four plus years of professional experience requested
Two or more years working in retail and/or ecommerce beneficial but not required
Willingness to support the entire business process during peak sales periods
Willingness to provide system support outside regular business hours
Applicants must pass a background check and drug test
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus and work with computer systems as a primary job function. Physical presence at the worksite is required.
