Radiology Technician - (Bakersfield)
Job Description Summary of Job Duties The Radiologic Technologist will perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or manager at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of the technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for the radiological diagnosis.
Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Qualifications & Requirements Current BLS/ACLS Certification Current CRT license required Fluoroscopy license required, ARRT preferred Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained New graduates must obtain Fluoroscopy license within first six months of employment Source:
