Research & Development Laboratory Technician
Work Description:
1. Prepare assigned lab batches
2. Complete paperwork associated with lab batches
3. Evaluate stability of products
4. Research ingredients as assigned
5. Organize lab chemicals
6. Keep a clean lab environment
Requirements: Candidate must be able to
1. Follow directions
2. Work in a laboratory setting using chemicals
3. Follow safety procedures
4. Stand throughout the working day with minimal to no sitting
5. Get along with other laboratory personnel
6. Able to work individually and as part of a team
7. Be self-motivated
8. Pay attention to detail
9. Have a desire to learn about the job, company and industry for career advancement
10. Work with other departments within the company
11. Think technically and creatively
12. Work quickly and under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines
13. General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
14. Use basic lab equipment
15. Lift up to 50 lbs
