PHP Web Developer
Xennsoft is seeking a Senior PHP Web Developer to develop new and existing retail websites and replicated sites. This individual will work in a small development team. The developer will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of technology that interacts with various legacy web sites as well as the creation of new websites and other web services. This individual will work under a Senior Developer and be responsible for web site development. This individual would work with SAAS web applications, existing websites and shopping cart technology with other mission critical applications including shipping, billing, and purchasing systems.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop and maintain new shopping cart system; include content and design using current and efficient programming technologies
Plan and execute future maintenance additions or new development projects including updates for user or business requirements.
Assist in planning long-term growth of existing systems as well as transition to current/future web technologies.
Develop and integrate clean and intuitive user interfaces for new or existing site features and new projects.
Propose tools and make recommendations as needed.
Produce detailed and useful system/code documentation
Magento and WordPress experience is a PLUS.
Requirements:
Any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
3-5 or more years of current experience working with enterprise PHP web applications and PHP Frameworks
Advanced understanding of standard web programming technologies such as CSS, HTML 5.0, JQuery and JavaScript.
Advanced knowledge and strong understanding of MySQL including planning and development of relational database structures.
Understanding of and experience with XML, including creation and manipulation of XML tree structures via XML DOM
Ability to design and develop object oriented and multi-tier web applications (separation of functionality for data interactivity, business logic and display/presentation)
Ability to develop and test for cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility (ensuring web application works in common/recent web browsers)
Understanding of data modeling and requirements, analysis tools, application development methodologies (e.g. object-oriented, rapid application development)
Experience in web-based application development and programming, web layout and graphic design, and site maintenance is preferred
