Receptionist

Private Capital Group is a loan servicing company located in Alpine, UT. We are looking for a new staff member who would like to gain a foothold in our company through working the front desk, but who is interested in expanding their skills and value beyond reception to either accounting or legal work. We promote from within in most cases and are looking for a long-term commitment from someone who is interested in Real Estate or Energy. This person will begin by handling and directing calls, serving as the first point of contact for clients in our office, and completing clerical assignments. Additional responsibilities will be given to this person based on their interests and capabilities. These responsibilities will most likely be in our accounting or extensive legal function. The ideal candidate may have a background or interest as an accounting clerk or paralegal, looking to move in that direction.
Must be outgoing and well-organized. This person will likely have to multi-task which requires excellent communication skills. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and multi-line phone systems. Prior experience is preferred in either clerical, accounting or legal work. If no experience, a strong desire must be evidenced.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
