Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for compiling records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Performs regular audits on incoming and outgoing inventory.
Investigates to determine the source of inventory discrepancies.
Maintains inventory lists.
Details inventory shortages and keeps an overall inventory balance and master list for reference.
Receives and documents incoming shipments as they arrive at the store.
Unpacks, counts, records and stocks inventory.
Supports shipping department when necessary.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
