Registered Nurse
Looking for a full-time RN at a pain management clinic in Cedar City. The applicant needs to be willing to fulfill MA responsibilities for some of the time they are working in the clinic (but still be paid as an RN). Hours will be Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm. Position includes health insurance, PTO and paid holidays. Job responsibilities include:
Prepare pre and post operative areas, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained. keep an accurate record of all drugs on hand. Order and maintain an accurate inventory.
Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving
a complete and thorough report on patient status throughout treatment and recovery.
Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those
changes to insure patient comfort and safety.
Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and
universal precaution practices at all times.
Practice patient teaching/training for patients and families.
Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and
verbal skills.
Handle and be knowledgeable of all medical equipment utilized in the care of
the patient.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
