Medical Assistant
Full time Medical Assistant to work alongside Physician providing help at our busy Dermatology practice in Midvale. He/she is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, and efficiency of the back office. Must be detail oriented, organized, able to multi task, self motivated, computer savvy, strong communication skills involving customer interaction, and a quick learner. Previous experience in a medical office is highly recommended, dermatology experience a plus.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide overall support for Providers and office operations. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Take patient histories and charting exam with Eclinical EMR. Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments. Gives injections and assists with procedures. Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization. Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries. Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments. Clerical duties include answering phones, greeting patients, making appointments, making photocopies, typing letters or documents, retrieving filing, and scanning medical records.
