Data Entry Assistant
Job Description:
Operate data entry device, such as keyboard.
Duties may include verifying data, obtaining necessary information; record data; advise customers on requirements.
May conduct oral, written, visual, or performance testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Code information for entry into computers.
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Select materials needed to complete work assignments.
Update operational records using computer terminals.
Perform routine data entry and other office support activities, including creating, sorting, photocopying, distributing, and filing documents.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager REQUIRED EDUCATION/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 2 years work experience in an office environment.
Clean DMV record is required.
Strong computer skills required to include:
Ultra Pipe and Web Posting experience along with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work SHIFT/HOURS:
