Cooking Class Coordinator
Position can be full or part time, at your option.
For Your Kitchen specializes in high quality and hard to find tools for the kitchen. We sell our merchandise from our retail store as well as online through our website. For Your Kitchen also offers services such as cooking classes and knife sharpening.
If you are a hard worker who loves to cook, loves to sell and enjoys people you will love this job.
A passion for cooking is a must.
You will definitely be selling and marketing our cooking class concept. You should expect to use a lot of creative skills to help sell and market the classes/events to ensure success.
We are looking for Incredible Service Providers, if you do not enjoy dealing with others then please look elsewhere.
Job Duties may include but will not be limited to:
Contacting & Scheduling cooking instructors for classes.
Contacting attendees and instructors to confirm/cancel cooking classes.
Promoting cooking classes, cooking competitions, private events, Corporate parties, etc
Making sure that the cooking class area is clean and ready before and after cooking classes.
Coordinating class assistant program. This program utilizes customers who want to attend a class to assist the instructors and help with cleaning - in exchange they get to come to the class free and get to work with the instructor/chef personally.
Helping co-workers and customers to succeed.

Ability to work in Clearfield, UT.
Ability to teach some cooking classes. -Don't worry you don't have to be a chef. We have had great instructors who are food bloggers, experts in one cuisine type (BBQ, Cake Decorating, Dutch Oven etc), emigrants (great with ethnic cuisines) as well as trained professional chef's.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional attitude, attire, and appearance.
Ability to make decisions and problem solve.
Positive Attitude & demeanor especially around co-workers and customers.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Develop creative ideas & ways to sell cooking classes (we have many ideas too.)
Proficient with Windows, MS Word, and Outlook.
