FANS Assistant ( Dietary) PT Mixed The Food and Nutrition Services Worker (FANS) performs a variety of tasks that facilitate the provision of food services and nutrition support to patients, employees and visitors.
These duties include:
Contributes to the efficient operation of the dpeartment and delivery of quality food presentation for the hospital.
Contributes to the efficient operation of the department by restocking food and supplies as designated by the supervisor, manager or dietician.
Contributes to a safe, clean and uncontaminated enviroment by ensuring work area in kept clean, sanatized, and orderly.
Job qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
6 months food service experience preferred.
Previous experience in hospital food services preferred.
