Solid State Device (SSD) Architect - Intel (Folsom, CA)

This position will include the development and use of detailed system and component SystemC modeling in definition of HW/FW/SW independencies, as well as behavior on all internal and external interfaces.
A close working relationship with leaders of industry standards like NVMe and SATA/SAS along with relationships with large OEM's is essential.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 10 years' experience in hardware component architecture and/or micro-architecture definition.
Storage architecture with emphasis on embedded storage devices is preferred.

Qualifications:
Experience/in-depth knowledge in some of the following domains:
Cache subsystems, Memory controllers, existing and emerging SSD memory technologies and protocols, NAND.
Strong written, verbal, leadership and interpersonal communications skills as demonstrated by prior work experience and proven track record of leading and influencing cross-functional, cross-site engineering teams and customers.
Experience in writing technical documents.
Experience with hardware/software interfaces and interactions Experience with modeling and SystemC High level understanding of storage solutions is also desired MS or PhD degree Job Category:
