Senior Bioassay Scientist - GE (Aliso Viejo, CA)
These technologies include, but are not limited to, automation, alternate chemistries, and alternate instrumentation - Evaluate next-generation technologies that serve to enhance molecular diagnostics product line o Designing and executing experiments, analyzing findings o Documenting and publishing findings internally and in peer-reviewed literature o May represent the organization on a purely scientific or scientific/promotional level at external meetings o May co-author scientific papers for publication in referenced journals/documents where appropriate Qualifications/Requirements o BS in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering or related field o Demonstrated experience developing assays in a product development setting o Demonstrated expertise in experimental design (Design of Experiments) and data analysis o Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a collaborative, matrix, and customer focused environment Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
