US Rtl -1808-VACAV-adi13 Country United States Department Retail State Province California Job Type Retail Store PostalZip code 95687 Position Type Full-time PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION Drives store profitability by Meeting or exceeding sales targets and controlling operational expenses in own store Leading the execution of effective and efficient store operations in own store Assuming Multi-Store Manager responsibilities excluding Profit and Loss responsibility for a limited span of stores within the Multi-Store Manager s districtterritory KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Takes ownership of hisher store and allocates resources and organizes processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions Has a working knowledge of the Profit and Loss Statement and the store KPIs and makes commercial decisions based on sound financial judgment Tracks store performance data ie best sellers weekly forward demand and sales per square foot and responds with solutions that drive commercial success Understands the behavior and patterns of the store s customer base draws conclusions from this and makes relevant adaptations to the service offer Actively monitors customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous improvement Leads service by example and ensures highly visible and effective customer service management at all times Creates a culture where all store activity and assets are vehicles for showcasing and driving Brand equity Actively ensures Brand and product knowledge is transferred into sales skills in all relevant categories Manages an appealing easy-to-shop environment for customers by ensuring visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained consistently throughout the store Ensures store team compliance with all store policies and procedures Drives continuous improvement in stockroom processing and replenishment procedures Minimizes loss by ensuring all loss prevention procedures are followed Manages the recruitment onboarding training and development of the store team and ensures all HR policies and procedures are adhered to Creates a high performance culture in hisher store by setting clear expectations and targets analyzing team performance holding team members accountable and giving appropriate and prompt feedback including actively managing poor performance Actively collaborates and shares best practices to drive District team performance Communicates a desire to learn and seizes all available opportunities to drive hisher development and increase performance Assumes the following responsibilities for other assigned stores Supports and coaches Store Managers to meet or exceed sales and profit targets Completes store visits and creates action plans for development areas with clear objectives deliverables and timelines for completion Analyzes Profit and Loss Statements and trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities and takes or recommends necessary corrective action Ensures consistent implementation of programs policies procedures and strategies Supports Multi-Store Manager with succession planning efforts to meet current or future business needs Acts as a coaching liaison with designated Store Managers for basic performance issues Engages Multi-Store Manager and may partner with HR for formal performance documentation progressive discipline and complex employee relations issues KEY RELATIONSHIPS Customers Peers and Supervisor Vendors and Support Functions eg Visual Merchandising Facility Services etc Local Administration eg mall management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 18 months work experience in a sportsfashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment with a minimum of 12 months of Store Management responsibility Intermediate numeracy and literacy and advanced verbal communication skills additions based on market needs Source:
