) Manually operate valves as operations dictate Lockout/ Tag out and permitting duties for maintenance work Interact with contract personnel Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork Write Maintenance Work Orders as needed Operate company vehicles during daily activities Relieve operations personnel of operator duties during vacation or as required Position Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Basic math skills Self starter and high drive for results Must be able to handle multiple tasks Strong teamwork Strong communication skills Good computer skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules PREFERRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Experience in 1-2 years oil and gas operations Background in gas processing Background in 1-2 years compressor operation Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) EDUCATION REQUIRED High School Diploma or equivalent WORKING CONDITIONS ? Work 12 hr rotating shift schedules ? Be available for call-out, overtime, and fulfill other scheduling needs as required by the company ? Tasks are performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions in daylight & darkness.
? May be required to stand, walk, sit, ascend/descend stairs or ladders, use hand tools, reach with hands and arms.
? Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
? Plant vessels, compressors and piping systems contain H2S and hydrocarbon gases which are flammable and may be explosive under certain circumstances The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
