HVAC Engineer - Napps Technology Corporation (Longview, TX)
This will include:
Customer specification review and response Interacting directly with sales engineers answering questions and recommending and approving applications Creating technical documents and drawings to describe product applications Responsible for continued development of Napps product Application Manuals Support engineering department as needed with Product development Manufacturing engineering Product testing Support of engineering department can include Verifying and documentation of bills of material Documentation of manufacturing processes Assisting with design work associated with production line Assisting with product testing and correlation of test data Working with agency representatives Preparing technical presentations Preparing technical training material and conducting factory training both at the Napps facility and in the fieldon a limited basis Limitedtravel for sales meetings, product shows and training Job Requirements:
Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering 10 years of experience in the commercial HVAC field with a minimum of 5 years of application engineering experience involving water and air cooled package chillers Experience with Building Automation System (BMS) interfaces and protocols Familiarity with relevant ASHRAE standards including ASHRAE 90.
1 ASHRAE membership desirable LEED Accreditation desirable Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication in the English language Excellent record keeping and organizational skills Additional information:
