Medicare Eligibility Intake Specialist

A Medicare Specialist's primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Contact prospects and complete case verifications, transfer to Medicare Insurance Specialist.
Explain Medicare eligibility according to scripts, benefits and our requirements, expectations and standards.
Positively promote and sell the benefits of using our Services to all prospects.
Accurately document all contact with prospects, enter all information and outcomes in accordance with current company policies and procedures.
Meet or exceed specific performance standards approved by management. Standards may change to better reflect the job duties and business needs.
Monthly Activity Based Results:
-Dials- 18/hour or more.
-Transfers- 20/day or more.
-Log all information regarding inquiry with FileMaker: Action history will accurately show what work/effort has been put forth with each lead.
-Properly mark Bad leads or Do Not Call leads.
-Properly mark leads using FileMaker to utilize drip marketing (when applicable) - Disconnected Numbers and Follow ups.
-Send corresponding emails accordingly with every call attempt to a lead (when applicable)
-Inform clients about the basic Medicare entitlements: Transfer clients to agency to get details on the entitlement available in their county
-Liaison between clients and agency: Provide good customer service to clients and transfer a minimum of 20 clients per day to available agents.
In addition to fulfilling all essential job functions this position is also responsible to:
Respond to phone calls as needed to answer questions for clients/leads
Complete special projects and other assigned tasks
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be able to work independently and have great organizational skills.
Data Integrity - Consistently and accurately document/enter information in accordance with current policies and practices. Knowingly falsifying data is grounds for immediate dismissal.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
